Institute was created in 2006 by a consortium of seven universities (University of Birmingham, University of Bristol, Heriot-Watt University, The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Nottingham and University of Oxford). It offers free online service that helps the information seekers to find right web resources for their studies and research. It has identified 350 journals available for Science, Engineering and Technology. It has reviewed and evaluated thousands of resources to help the information seekers and chose key websites fulfill their information thirst.
