PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

  • Students will excel in their professional career in engineering and research with the highest professional and ethical standards in their activities by acquiring knowledge in basic engineering, mathematics, and science.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POS)

  • Students will demonstrate strong basics in Mathematics, Science and Engineering
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to design a system, component or process to meet the desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
  • Students will be able to communicate effectively both in verbal and non-verbal forms.
  • Students will be trained towards developing the impact of their engineering field in the global, economic environmental and societal contexts.
  • Students will be capable of understanding the value for life-long learning.
  • Students will demonstrate knowledge of contemporary issues focusing on the necessity to develop new material, design, and practice in their engineering field.
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for practice in their field.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOME (PSOS)

  • Students must be responsible professionals with intellectual integrity, code of conduct, and ethics of research, being aware of the research outcome and serve towards the sustainable development of the society.
  • Students must be able to participate in collaborative – multidisciplinary engineering and research tasks and work as a team member in such tasks related to their domain, giving due consideration to economic, and financial intricacies and lead the team in specific spheres.
  • Students should possess the skills to communicate in both oral and written forms, the work already done and the future plans with necessary road maps, demonstrating the practice of professional ethics and the concerns for societal and environmental wellbeing.
