Chemistry department of AIHT was established in the year 2000 by Kalvi Vallal Thiru. T Kalasalingam. All the faculties in the department are highly qualified as per Anna University norms. They teach Engineering chemistry both theory & practical for the first year Engineering students of all branches. Our Department produces very high percentage of results every year. The goal of the department is to prepare the students for careers in all engineering aspects and also carry out basic and applied research work.

The Department of English has been functioning well in Anand Institute of Higher Technology ever since its inception in 2000. In 2005, a computer based language lab was set up so as to help the department of English achieve easily both its vision and mission. The motto of the department is to nurture the talents and skills of the students and ensure that they have the knowledge and potential necessary for facing the tough and challenging job market. The English Department is not promoting any one approach or ideology, but it is pluralistic and takes pride in the variety of emphases and perspectives of teaching.

Physics Department of AIHT was established in the year 2000 by Kalvi Vallal Thiru. T Kalasalingam. Excellence in research and teaching has been the hall mark of the Physics department ever since its inception. The department of physics offers Basic physical science courses with laboratory for all branches of B.E and B.Tech programme in I & II semesters. All the faculties in the department are highly qualified as per Anna University norms.

The Mathematics Department of Anand Institute of Higher technology was established in the year 2000 by Kalvi Vallal Thiru. T Kalasalingam. It serves to provide a strong foundation in Mathematics and its applications in engineering both at undergraduate and post graduate level. Excellence in research and teaching has been the hall mark of the Department of Mathematics ever since its inception.
