PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

PEO1 : Have a fundamental knowledge of the basic probability concepts.

PEO2 :Be exposed to concepts and properties of algebraic structures such as groups, rings and fields.

PEO3 : Understand and characterize phenomena which evolve with respect to time in probabilistic manner.

PEO4 : Acquire skills in handling situations involving more than one random variable and functions of random variables.

PEO5 : To model physical problems and solve the system of Ordinary Differential Equations through numerical methods.

PEO6 :To enable the students to apply hypothesis testing in order to analyze experiments under study.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (PO)

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO 1 : Ability to acquire broad theoretical knowledge in basic mathematics, science and Engineering.

PO 2 : Students will demonstrate knowledge of differential equations, integral equations, vector calculus, complex variables, matrix theory, probability theory and random process, chemistry, physics and basic electrical & electronics engineering.

PO 3 :Students will demonstrate an ability to identify, formulate and solve electronics and communication engineering problems.

PO 4 : An ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics in solving real time problems.

PO 5 :The students will have the ability to apply knowledge of computing, mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals appropriate to the discipline.

PO 6: Students will demonstrate an ability to design electronic and electrical circuits and conduct experiments with electrical, electronics and communication systems, analyses and interpret data.

PO 7: Students will be able to participate and succeed in competitive examinations including GATE, GRE and UGC NET.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES (PSOs)

PSO1 : To provide students with a sound foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering areas necessary to achieve excellence in solving and analyzing engineering problems and to prepare them for graduate studies.

PSO2 : An ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of Database System, Software Engineering, Computer Networking and Operating System for software applications

PSO3 : An ability to design & develop program, algorithms and projects using open source tools and efficient data structure

PSO4 : Apply principles of Engineering Mathematics and core engineering including applications appropriate to the Electronics & Communication Engineering.

PSO5 : Apply basic knowledge related to Electronic Devices & Circuits, Electromagnetics, Digital Signal Processing, Communication Engineering and Embedded Systems to solve engineering problems.

PSO6 : Demonstrate proficiency in use of software and hardware required in real life applications.
