Rotaract club of East Coast Chennai sponsored by Rotary club of Chennai Metropolis RID 3232 along with Rotaract club of Anand Institute of Higher Technology sponsored by Rotary club of Chennai Silk City RID 3232, together conducted a professional event called " Real U " phase-2 to the freshers of Anand institute of higher technology on 25th November 2022 at main auditorium of AIHT from 1:30pm onwards.

The Event started by a welcome note given by Rtr. Vivek, who formally welcomed the gatherings. Then, the president of Rotaract club of Anand institute of higher technology and Rotaract club of East Coast Chennai escorted the speaker of the day S. Padmavathy, who is a Fashion Merchandiser, Web Graphic Designer in Qatar, and Entrepreneur in Tourism. The presidents,Rtr. Prasanth.R, Rotaract club of East Coast Chennai and Rtr. Hari prasad, Rotaract club of Anand institute of higher technology was collared by their respective sergeants and they called the event to order.

The event started by formally welcoming the speaker of the day S. Padmavathy, by an Intro presentation. Then, the speaker took over the session. She introduced herself and explained the importance of passion, how her passion changed her life and career. She is an avid traveller who has travelled to 42 countries solo, her travel adventures include skydiving, paragliding, snorkeling, and canoeing. She distinguished the difference between Passion and Dreams. She asked us to live our passion and follow our dream, to have a happy and better life. She shared her life story, of how she discovered her passion and made it as her career. She's been a successful Fashion Merchandiser, Web Graphic Designer in Qatar, and Entrepreneur in Tourism; her skill set includes Website and Graphic Designing, Cultural & Event Organizing, Anchor, Model, and Video Creator. Also, she had press releases in the most popular media, such as THE Hindu, Dinamani newspaper, way2world, Vanigar ulagam and more. She also runs a travel start-up business named “Travellerz”. That are known for arranging weekend short Getaway tours for corporate companies and, on Request, Female hosts for Female solo travellers, budget and Customized Tours for Solo travellers, and Providing Self-Guided tours for travellers.

She shared the experience of new places, new culture, new language, new people and new food of the travelled countries. She, also included the difficulties faced while traveling and how she overcame her fear, of being a single female traveller. She motivated us, by sharing the difficulties faced by many celebrities such as sports person, entrepreneurs, leaders, Actor and actress, of how they overcame their struggles and followed their passion, even at their worst times. She also taught us, some techniques to be confident and brave.

Later, Rtr. Anbarivu took the session more interactive by conversating with the speaker, S. Padmavathy. He asked many questions related to tourism, which makes the session more effective as well as interactive. Then, she gave instructions which should be followed while traveling. She changed our vision towards traveling and passion.

Then, Rtr. Anbarivuu conducted games to the freshers, which was fun as well as entertaining. Followed by, Rtr. Prashant and Rtr. Hari prasad explained about, what is Rotaract and the benefits of being a Rotaractor. At last, Rtr. Varun Priyan gave vote of thanks, by showing his gratitude for the opportunity and to the people for making the event, a memorable one. Later, the presidents of their respective clubs, adjourned the event.
