“PAATU PAADAVA” is a Both community and club service initiative hosted by Rotaract Club of East Coast Chennai. The co-host clubs are Rotaract Club of AC Tech, Ethiraj College for Women, GSS Jain College for Women, Sri Venkateshwara College for Engineering and Anand Institute of Higher Technology.

This event starts with Tamil Thai Vaazhthu and Welcome note by Emcee Rtr. PP. Dinesh Kumar. Then host and co-host club presidents and guests were called to the dias. Followed by, all of the co-host club presidents were collared. The event was called to order by Rtr. Prashanth, President of Rotaract club of East Coast Chennai. After that, he set the context of the event.

Rtr. Vidyasagar- chairman of this event, gave away the welcome address. The KALVI 40 is a non-profit organization in India which focuses on providing content in regional language free of cost, thus creating an equal opportunity for those students in government schools. KALVI 40 team addressed the gathering with an introduction video of them. How the money from this event going to contribute the under privileged student’s studies was explained by them.

Then Beat boxing was done by Srivatsan from SVCE. Followed by, VIBEZZ band did their performance and entertained the crowd. After their performance, Sri Slinger, an independent singer brought up the event in wonderful way and audience enjoyed it a lot. Again, Band performance was done by VIBEZZ team.

After that, co-chairmen of this event were recognized. Then, Rtr. Varshini gave away the vote of thanks. At last, Rtr. Prashanth adjourned the event.

We donated the fund of Rs.28,000 raised through this event to Kalvi 40 team and making sure to lighten the lives of those students, dwelling in the dark.
